HSC’s Twilight Sunfish Series begins Wednesday April 28
It’s back! Racing on Wednesday evenings starts this week with the first race at 6:00 – come on out and join the fun!
You’ll need to be sailing at 6 PM in order to make the race.
Arrive by 5 PM if you want to sign-out a club boat. No sign outs after 5:30.
You cannot use a club boat unless you’ve completed sail training in a previous year.
Water is Cold
Be prepared for cold water immersion if you capsize. RC will be there to help out, but if you have any hesitancy about your skills compared to weather conditions, it’s best to hold off for warmer conditions. You will notice the more experienced sailors wearing partial wet suits and other cold water gear.
HSC Covid Protocol
Please stay home if you have symptoms or have been exposed to COVID 19.
When you arrive at the club, put on your mask, use the available hand sanitizer, and complete the COVID signup form.
1. Provide your full name and phone number. If you are not on the list you cannot race or crew.2. Everyone must wear a mask in the club area, except if they are working alone in a remote area or within their “bubble.” Wearing a mask is about protecting those around you. We have a disposable surgical masks available.3. Since physical exertion and talking loudly significantly increases the spread of aerosol particles, we will need to carefully plan our actions when lifting boats, engines, or calling for mark room ;-).
