Class description: This class is a one day class on land and water learning how to crew and sail on a Flying Scott.  On land, you will support the skipper with rigging and unrigging.  On the water, you will learn how to adjust the main sail, jib (smaller sail,) and spinnaker, support the captain with tacks, jibes, and balancing the boat with body weight.   You can use the experience gained in the class to participate in Sunday afternoon races on a Flying Scott who’s captain is in need of crew.  Club members can indicate their availability on the FlyingScot TeamReach App.  See the sidebar on members area page for information on the TeamReach app.  For questions about this class contact instructor Tom Tague at hsctomtague@gmail.com
