If you can find your Sunfish under all that snow you are in good shape! If it looks like a mound similar to all the other mounds you may want to consider sweeping it off to reduce the possibility that you will have one soggy boat in the spring.
In the meantime a lot of planning is going on for the new year. HSC will be hosting at least three events: one open event on Memorial Day and one club members only event on Labor Day. We will also be hosting a SANJL regatta which has a large draw across the Mid-Atlantic region. This event will be a great way to meet people from outside the club who are regular travelers on the circuit. We will also continue our Wednesday night series with the sailing followed by pizza at the Sunset Inn, and our series on Sunday afternoons.
In addition club members can sail your Sunfish in the Commodore’s Cup on June 11 and the Little Brown Jug regatta on July 4.
So there’s a lot of sailing being planned for this year!
