Class Description:  These weekend courses are designed to teach beginners how to sail.  Each day includes “Chalk Talk” instruction on shore followed by practice on the water.  You will learn how to rig a sunfish, steer, tack, sail upwind, downwind, and gybing, right-of-way rules, capsize recovery, sailing terms and concepts.  The last class is a solo long distance sail to practice all points of sail.  You will need to bring:  Life Jacket, Sunscreen, Lunch, Closed-toe water shoes, sunglasses with safety strap, lots of water.  Click on the session group below that fits your schedule to register through Regatta Network.  Classes are limited to 12 students on a first come first served basis.  Registration links will become live March 24, 2024.
