All hands: Sailing Club Workday – Sat. April 18

Here is a friendly reminder that Saturday 4/18 is the Hunterdon Sailing Club workday at Spruce Run State Park, boat launch area. We plan to start at 10 am and hopefully finish by 3 pm.   Among the tasks are to launch the See Which Won II pontoon boat; prepare the old See Which for disposal; sort and check the sunfish equipment; brace the sunfish racks and clean and straighten the shed. During the day we’ll make a dump run or two to get rid of any junk.

Special request:  Bring a portable generator if you have one!

Please bring:  Work gloves;  hand tools – general wood-working; wrenches, plyers, etc and boat repair;  brooms, small power tools (saw; drill; etc).  Bring lunch & drinks, too.

Everyone can help – no training needed! Teams will be set up to —
1) float the SWWT and store the SWW
2) brace the racks
3) check out and repair the sunfish (a great way to learn about the boat)
4) clean and straighten the shed

See you at the lake!
